Absences/Casual Days (for enrolled families only)

Poets Grove uses a smartphone app called “My Family Lounge” to allow parents to manage their children’s attendances.

This app, (free on Apple or Android), allows long day care, extended hours kindergarten and sessional kindergarten families to mark their child absent due to holidays or illness.

For long day care and extended hours kindergarten families, if an absence is booked by another family as a casual day, a 50% discount is offered to the child who holds the permanent place. This discount is applied after the date of attendance. Normal fees apply to the casual booking.
